    Hi!!!
We were in Prince Edward County on the May long weekend and happened upon the barn early Saturday morning!!! At first we thought we had made a wrong turn but we were warmly welcomed and informed that we were their first customers EVER!!!!! We were in PEC celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so this just made it an extra special visit!!! They were lovely and the wine was delicious!!! It was a wonderful experience and they were very friendly and informative about their winery and the industry in PEC in general!!! Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area!!! Two thumbs up…cheers!!!

Hi Paul: Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk with me on Saturday regarding the MexiCanada Open Golf Tournament that I am organizing. I loved the winery looks great what a nice location. Hope that you have had time to consider the opportunity to make a donation to the Prince Edward County Gift Basket that I am gathering to put into the silent auction for the tournament. Look forward to your response. Regards, J Harleen Acton Event Coordinator

My husband and I were taking a weekend break in Prince Edward County in August 2012. We had spent the day tasting many wines when we stopped at the Milford Bistro for lunch. The wonderful people at the bistro suggested the winery saying, ” it is getting lots of buzz lately”. It was on our way back to the B&B so we stopped. The woman poring our wines was delightful and we enjoyed walking through the barn, but the best surprise of all was the wine. Despite the fact that we had already purchased 24 bottles at other wineries, we rearranged our trunk and add more . A few weeks later we were searching through our wine fridges and pulled out a cab franc from The Devils Wishbone (I was a bit nervous at first because we had purchased the wine after a long day of tastings, so we may not have had the best judgement…which has happened before). The wine was spectacular. I love when you can taste the terroir, the personality of the winemaker, and the care and attention that has gone into producing the product.

Thank you for the wonderful wine – It has taken me a long time to develop an interest in Canadian wines. It is because of vineyards such as yours that I will continue to pursue an interest in local wines.

My last question – how do I get a case of the cab franc delivered to Toronto?

While on a motorcycle tour in August we took a chance and stopped and this newer winery. What a great reception! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We got to try your new wine jellies and they are awesome. My husband and I enjoyed a bottle of 2010 Cabernet Franc for New Year’s Eve last nite. We look forward to a return trip next summer.

I’ve just opened my last bottle of the 2010 Cab Franc, with great regret, I have to say, as it’s excellent. If you havbe any bottles remaining, I’d be delighted to purchase them. My e-mail address is below.
    Sincerely, Peter Froud.
